Dr. Christiane Northrup

What did you love to do when you were about ten years old?  Sometimes, if you've been talked out of who you are, you have to go back and ask a friend or relative.  Ask your mother, "what was I like?  What did I love to do at that age?"  The answer holds the key to your deepest fulfillment - Dr. Christiane Northrup

My fondest memory of being 10 was when my Dad came home from his first tour of duty in Vietnam. I came home from school and found him sitting at the kitchen table. It's hard to describe how I felt, I was shocked and happy at the same time. There was no internet back then obviously, so it was common to go a month or more between letters. They would route them from Vietnam to the Philippines and San Francisco before they got to their destination. And with all the TV coverage of the war it led to lots of worry on this end. It was a very strange time for me and my friends at school that had Fathers in the war. This topic was therapeutic. Thank's Nancy! =)
